Description of the business HandyPro is a construction business specializing in residential/commercial handyman projects and home modifications focusing on the senior market, (aging in place), and people with disabilities. HandyPro can finish a homeowners to do list and/or help with home accesibility by installing a grab bar, widening a doorway, adding a wheelchair ramp or remodeling a bathroom. The models drives profitability by using a combination of specialized employees and sub-contractors. The ProCrew Scheduling Center books appoinmments for free estimates; this eliminates the need for an office manager/dispatcher. HandyPro offers two business models Owner Operator Model. This model is for the candidate with remodeling or construction experience who can start their business “hands on” doing much of the work his or her self. This model will allow the franchisee to build the business working along side helpers and skilled craftsmen and do what they love to do; home improvements. They can build their business with the potential of growing it into the Executive model. Executive Model. A candidate with executive leadership and minor construction experience (enjoys doing handyman projects around the house), and willing to work in the field after grand opening for a month or two to understand the fundamentals of client service and how to provide excellent support to craftsmen. Has a desire to learn the business model and our successful systems to grow a scalable organization. The business management systems included lead generation, recruiting and retention, leadership, customer engagement, and understanding financial reports and key performance indicators.
